In this race, participants must grab one colored paper at the starting line, run to the target area, and place the paper on its matching color. They continue running back and forth until all pairs are matched. To set up, place a minimum of six colored rectangles in a line on the floor. You can add more colors to increase the difficulty, as a longer line makes the race more physically demanding. Keep the matching pile of colored papers at the starting point. The first participant to successfully match all their colors wins the race.
Start by folding a simple origami paper boat. this hand-on creation builds fine motor skills and gives them a personal “anchor” for the practice.

Have the children lie down comfortably on their backs and place their paper boat right on their belly button. On a deep inhale, the belly expands and the boat rides high up. on a slow exhale, the boat gently drifts back down. What happens when the weather gets storm?
Before bed tomorrow, place your hand on your belly and notice it moving with every inhale and exhale. This is what we call an anchor spot. See how many belly breaths you can count before you fall asleep!
In this fast-paced brain game, we are challenging your child’s working memory and impulse control through a high-energy "snap" challenge. To play, watch for any repeating shape! If you see a green circle followed by another green circle, or a gold cross followed by a gold cross, give a loud clap!
